SYDNEY, Jamiaiy 26. •Bushfires, due to the heat, and fanned by a hot westerly wind, occurred in the outer suburbs of the city yesterday. - The chief scene of the fire was at Hornsby, where St. Peter's Church and: five cottages were destroyed. During the day sixteen localities reported outbreaks.
