MONTHLY MEETING OF THE
COUNCIL
The monthly meeting of the Council of the Master ton Chamber of Commerce was lidd in the A- and P. rooms on Fiiduy afternoon, there being present —Messra C. E. Daniell (President), G. W. Sellar, A. Berderson, J. B. Keith, V Donald, liBrown, G. H. Perry, C. C. <?ummercll, J. Brown, D. M. Gruhatri, i>. H. W aldington and J. C-aselberg. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Spain, Chennolls and Hodgkins. The Treasurer reported a credit balance at. date of £9 7s £d.
The Feilding Chamber asked for a table of rates for insurance in Masterton, for the purposes of comparison. —The -Secretary stated that he had supplied the information asked for.
The librarian of the Royal Colonial Institute asked for a copy of the annual balance-sheet of the Chamber, for filing purposes.—The Chairman stated that the balance-sheet bad been sunnlied.
