Jack Johnson, the champion pugilist, has been released on. bail. He complained that he was incarcerated in a death cell in tho County gaol. Spooks haunted him at nights. Thoy danced on the floor, and tapped the walls. He said he would rather jump off a skyscraper than repeat the experience.
