The steamer Snow-don Range, 3060 tons, has been towed to Queenstown. She was fifty days out from Philadelphia, having lost her rudder and all her boats a month ago during a gale. ' '■

(Received Last Night, 8.40 o'clock.) LONDON, January 15. The SnoM'don Range has anchored in the outer entrance to Queenstown harbour. The towing steamer and tugs were compelled to leave, pwing to the terrific gale that wa*s raging. The Snowdon Range has drifted ashore. The crew are .safe.
STEAMER WRECKED
SEVENTEEN LIVES LOST,

The steamer Hawk wood was wrecked at Flamboro Head. The entire crew, numbering seventeen, were drowned.
[The Hawkwood was a steel vessel of 1155 tons, built in 1899. She was owned by W. France, Fenwick and Co., Ltd.]
