SHOCKING TRAGEDY

FARMER'S WIFE SHOT. (Received January 13, 9.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 13. A shocking tragedy is reported from Copmanhurst. Mrs Lloyd, the wife of a farmer, admonished ail ex-State boy named Lindsay, aged twenty, whereupon the latter Lot her dead, the act being committed at four o'clock thi.s morning.
Lindsay dragged tho body to ".ho homse. and then wrote as follows to his sister, who lives in Sydney: "I have just >shot Mrs Lloyd dead. Pray God to forgivo me." Lindsay then went to a neighbour's house and related the occurrence. He was en route to surrender to the police when he was arrested.
