(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON. January 11.
The underwriting is proceeding ol a £2,000,000 Queensland loan, at 4 per cent. The underwriters of the Queensland loan will pay a full quarter's interest on April Ist. A final instalment of 50 per cent is payable on April 10th. Subscribers will be given a bonus of about 15s nor cent.
Messrs Paters"n, Laing and Brace are issuing £IOO,OOO worth of 42 per cent debentures at par. Half tlie amount has been underwritten. No gold will be shipped to Australia.
