Lubin Company, was a superb representation or the * fickleness of woman, and contained at times a very, humorous strain, A verv fine topical film was sliown in The Eclair Journal. the items and photography beircr excellent. A ver- prettv film for the t ladies was Paris Fashions. The instructive element of this programme js very strong, and included A Study in Crayfish, a very fine lesson on our tasty friend. Scenes in Jerusalem, Goldmiriing in Rhodesia, Africa, and the Whaling Industry of Natal were all films of great merit. The comedies were all good, and included) A Real Apache/'A Water Fight, and N The Last of the Black Hand Gang. \ This series will be repeated to-night and to-morrow night. ? 0n Wednesday a special feature will ho shown, in A ' Dearly Purchased Friendship, a 3000 ft production by the Nordisk Company and sequel to Love and Friendship, with Miss Asta Neilson in the leading role. MASTERTON PICTURE COMPANY THE AISLES OF THE WIND. The Town Hall was crowded on Sat'iirday. evening, .when the Masterton Picture Company presented an entirely new series of. photo plays, at the head of which is In "the Aisles of the Wild, one of the finest productions of the A.B. Company. Tie beautiful and rugged: grandeur of the scenery in which the drama is told is amazing. GUinpses of the pine forests, and rushiug rivers arid pretty .spots- with wild flowers in abundance follow one another ia quick succession as the plot unfolds. The wV.o!e series is composed! of star pictures of a most-at-tractive kind. These include The Linii Tonic. Economic Peter, and The Bishop's Bath, which are of a mirth-pfc-ovoking nature. From a .scenic point of view the views of tho ancient port of Jaffa are stated to be excellent, affording a splendid idea of this . Jiistcric .spot. Other items include "Convict Brother, Tho Butterfly Net, Tike Long Strike, The White "Man's Burden, Williams' Weekly, Swimming ■CSiampion ships at Te Aro, Wellington, and Lively Town Visit.
