AN EYESORE.

(To the E3itor.)

Sir,—l. am a visitor to your town, and have been .struck by the cleanliness of your streets, the beautiful surroundings of the place, and the general air of prosperity that prevails. 1 would like to know, however, why your Borough Council permitted the erection of those ugly unpainted posts at street corners, indicating where taxi-cabs, shall stand. They destroy the whole effect, and give the place a shabby appearance.—l am, 6tC '' VISITOR. Masterton, January 9, 1913.
