A ROGUE OF THE TURF.
The Town Hall was again crowdt-d to it's' utmost capacity last evening,: when the Masterton Picture Company presented the Lux Company's masterpiece, entitled A Rogue of the Turf. The story opens in a small mmiugtown in the Wild West, in which Jack Brown, a noted gambler, is caught cheating at cards by Rich .'id Stanford., a young Englishman. Alter being dogged -by hungry wolves, and undevgoin gother adventures, L'luwn crosses to England, where he leads a mysterious double life. A v«iy fine st'orv is told in the Cines drama, Beck's Return. -The Squaw Man. a 1000 ft drama, is a picture represf.Riotion of the play of that title. 'J he comics are a very good selection, snd number some genuine laughter-'aisers. Hop Tt is? one of the funniest lilms yet shown, and the same m-iy be said of Jenkins Invulnerable. The Waiwick Chronicle is a great co'.hrrtion .«!' topical subjects. The Little .Orphan is an excellent drama of the permanent way. Other pictures in the programme are Sammy Prattles' Physical Culture, andi The Lin>j at Hogan's.

A WOMAN SOOILNtCD
Last night «iw yet another crowded audience at the T.-P. Electric Theatre to witness the ■screening «>f the present fine series of films. A' Woman Scorned, the star, againg proving a popular item. The story of a woman's wasted life and her redemption. The next most popular item was a picture entitled His rate's Rehearsal. This was a very line play, by Miss May Tmnnelle and: Mr Herbert Pryor. of the Majestic Company. The story showed a man falling with drunken ways, and his subsequent absolute cure effected by a-Olovel <xperiment practised by his wit? and a clever physician. Other pictures of not? wov<\ Just a Snonge, .Simple Simon, and Through Dumb Luck. The usual matinee will be given at 2.30 to-morrow. For Saturday nikht a rather unusual typo of drama wll bo shown in Tlie Sower, an exiting representation of life amongst underground ghouls.
