Smith, Limited, commences to-mor-row, and the premises are closed all day to-day to make final arrange-j ments for this important event. The public of Masterton and settlers in the Wairarapa' generally recognise that these stocktaking sales that are advertised by Messrs- C. Smith, limited, are genuine in- character, and bona fide reductions are made . with a view to making a clearance of everything possible, and by this means to lighten the work of stocktaking, besides enabling the management to show an improved balance-sheet , through the reduction of the stock and increase of liquid assets.
