THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTUREI J "THE ACROBAT'S DAUGHTER." j To-night will see the last screening of this magnificent the-. • Electric Theatre, and picture patrons should avail themselves of tlie occasion to see "The Acrobat's Daughter." Tliis picture, which is the sequel to the "Four Dare-devils," is a very fine study, and well up to its predecessor. Other fine dramas are "Gjrl Reporter's Big Scoop," "Tlie Convict's Parole" (by Edison), and "Tlie Miller g of Burgundy" (by Selig). The best of a fine lot of studies are "Cotton Industry," "Sponge Fisheries," "Henley Regatta, 1912" and "Stag Hunting on Exmoor." Tlie comedies are numerous, and include "Polidor School," ".Tonkin's Hydraulics" and "The Hobo Club." A clever trickpicture is shown in "Bewildering Transformations." There will be a. complete change again for New Year's night, which will include another big star 'by the Nordisk Co., ".nd a full series of specially selected \ holiday features. Phe plot unfoldig how Martha, a factory girl, loves-.the engineer who is employed in the same business, and 10W her employer's daughter is her •ivall. Martha s ,succeed,9.in winning the jngineer and tlieiV life is full of happiness. Eight years afteir love bC'cosm- j a? turned to* hiate, and the two rivals I again meet in combat for the same man. The engineer's little daughter dies as a result of catching diptheria, I and foul play is 'suspected. Martha, the mother of tine child, decides to call tlie police to liev aid in solving the, problem. Eventually Martha is reinstated in her husband's love, and the wicked are confronted. The picture is a lengthy and sensational one, the photography being of the very highest order, whilst the acting is above reproach. A thrilling military drama, .by the A.B. Co., is entitled ' 'Letters * From Camp.'' ' 'Saved by Ditograph" is another sensational drama bv the Selig Co. Seldom are there so many cWarming scenes as are in "Views of the French Coasts." A goodly number of interesting comics, comedies and dramas complete a most interesting series." The final screening affords a last opportunity of witnessing the above programme tonight.
