FRENCH COLUMN SURROUNDED | THOUSANDS OF TRIBESMEN. (Received December 28, 9.20 a.m.) -i PARIS, December 27. Colonel Bnilard's Moga-dor column fought throughout an eighteen hours' march and relieved Major Massoutier's column, which was surrounded at Darsl Kadi Castle by thousands of tribesmen The French casualties were ten killed- and thirty wounded.
