The deceased, who was fifty-two years of age, was a son of Mr John McKenzie, and was barn oil the East' Coast. In his young•er days he was a prominent athlete. Ho was a good judge of stock, and was for nine years .manager of Blairlogie Station. He was a cousin of Messrs, William, Alex, and T. McKenzie, the well known stock buyers. He leaves a sister at Waipawa, and a brother at Gisborne. His remains will be interred in the Masterton Cemetery tomorrow. -
