There is .something radically wrong with the railway system when the Department refuses to accept produce for transport, a.s is happening just now at Masterton. From the reports appearing in the Wellington papers, there would appear to be an abundance of storaugo accommodation for wool in tho Harbour Board sheds. Tf this is so. why has the Railwav Department allowed a block to occur ? Settlers have a right to expect that then- produce will.be conveyed to the ■seaboard with as- much expedition :\8 possible.
