LORD LIVERPOOL

ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND. (By Telc^ravh — V***& Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. Lord Liverpool, who arrived by the Malwa this morning, was entertained at an unofficial luncheon this afternoon by the Mayor and pity Councillors. There was a large attendance, including several members of Parliament. Speeches of welcome were made by the Mayor and Prime Minister, and Lord Liverpool made a happy speech in reply. Lord and Lady Liverpool left for Wellington, in company with the Prime Minister, by special train this evening at 6.15 o'clock. The party will reach Wellington about midday to-morrow.
