AGRICULTURAL DEPARTMENT.
The annual report of the Department of Agriculture, Commerce and Tourists, has just been issued. It is a document full to the brim with information, and suitably illustrated. In a. measure it has been anticipated by the Agricultural Journal, which keeps tho Dominion informed of the doings of the divisional officers from time to time. The report, however, contains imany useful recommendations to tho Government, and these are worthy of the fullest consideration. The various branches of the Farmers' Union, and A. and P. Associations would do .well to study the recommendations made, and express opinions anont them that may assist in the framing of future legislation.
