DROWNING FATALITY
(By TeUrravh — V*'&» Association.) NAPIER Last Night. William Cooper, aged about 30, a single man, was drowned while bathing at Clive yesterday. He got into deep water, and being unable to swim, was carried out to sea by the current. The body lias not yet been recovered.

HASTINGS, Last Night. The body of John Cooper, aged 25 wears, and unmarried, whio wa§ drowned whilst bathing in the Tuki Tuki River, near Clive Grange, on Sunday afternoon,- was recovered to-day. The deceased was unable to swim,'"and entered the river with wings, where the water was 14 feet deep. The wings got adrift, and Coopr sank in the water.
