ARMISTICE CONFERENCE
THE FINAL SCENES,
(Received Last Night, 9.20 o'clock.) LONDON, December 9. The Da.ily Telegraph's correspondent telegraphing from Ghataldeja, narrates the closing scenes of the Armistice Conference. Alter the Greek Minister withdrew from the negotiations, ho left in a train. The final problem was whether Turkey would allow the Bulgarians' train to pasy through Adrianople. After a long siJence, Nazim Pasha said, "Let it be so, but wait ten days, till the negotiations luegin in London." M. Daneff rose a<nd extended his hand, raying, "It is finished. We are in agreement." The negotiators, in the intensity of the-reaction forgot the struggle, and there was an irresistible impulse to exchange embraces, including between M. Savoff and Nazim Pasha. Later, champagne was opened, and Nazim Pasha- drank the health of the valiant Bulgarian army. The Bulgarian delegates replied with a toast to the health of the valiant Ottoman army. i

One thousand five hundred Albanians attempted to take, by surprise Himara Pa v ss. Major Spiromolio, head of the Greek volunteers, gallantly defeated the Albanians. The inhabitants of the Island of Svilli (on the south-west of Asia Minor, at the mouth of the Gulf of Doris) have proclaimed a union.with Greece, and have notified the Italians that ( hey are . resolved to prevent the Turks' return, and will rise against the Italians if they aid the Turks. A thousand armed inhabitants under the command of a former Cretan priest are prepared for eventualities. BULGARIA'S CASUALTIES.. (Received December 9, 8.10 a.m.) SOFIA, December 8.
