BOXING DAY SPORTS
The date of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Club's annual meeting on the Park Oval is drawing near, and we again remind intending competitors that entries for all running, walking and hurdling events close with the secretary, Mr W. S. L. Dickson } next Thursday night, at 9 o'clock. For the convenience of those who always leave their entries till the last minute, the secretary will be at Murray's Hall during the evening. Already a goodly number of entries have been received, mostly from ont,side competitors, who competed at the jChin's sports last season. Present indications point to a record gathering of athletes, and. the imost successful amateur meeting held in the Wairarapa. should result.
