The. following North Island mem,-, j hers of Parliament, have definitely pro--i mised to visit Otago Central early nextyear as. the .guests of the Otago Central Railway League Messrs BnyJ-* n«y (Auckland West). Buick (Palraerston North), Escott (Pahiatua), Harris (Waitemata), Hine (Stratfordt), ifthodes (Thames)', Sykes (Masterton), and Okey (New Plymouth). A. Palniorston North telegram states that the Rev. Father CosteHo, of St. Patrick's Church, Palmcrston, died suddenly on Saturday afternoon from heart failure, following; a serious attack of influenza.. The deceased', who was fifty-three years of age, was educated at the Catholic College at Innis. County Clare, Ireland. He was for a time Administrator of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Auckland.
