SEXUAL VICE.
Th« Ror A. T. Thompson has written to a contemporary, criticising certain statements that have appeared in the columns of this paper. It appears to bo a habit of the reverend gentleman, to do this. Possibly he is not aware that ho is committing a breach of newspaper etiquette. If bo has a grievance at anything that has appeared in this paper, he should knowthat ho has an opportunity, through our correspondence columns, of putting' himself right. If he refuses to avail himself of this opportunity, and is encouraged to persist in doing the wrong thing, that is a matter of concern only to himself. So far as the subject of his address on "Sunday is concerned, we have expressed the opinion, and we adhere to it, that the subject of sexual vice cannot bo handled, in it should be handled, before a mixed congregation. Wo are content to leave it at that, m the meantime.
