A BOOTH MEMORIAL.
Commissioner Richards, who is head of the Salvation Army in Xcw Zealand, hag written us, asking for otir co-operation in a movement to provide a memorial in the Dominion to the late. General Booth. It is proposed to raise a sum of £BOOO by voluntary subscription, with the object of providing a Training College in Wellington for oflieers of the Army. We are sure that those who have a knowledge of the good work 'ione by t'he Army among the submerged tenth, and the outcasts of society, will be anxious to perpetuate the memory of tho founder of this worldwido humanitarian institution. Wo have been asked to receive the contributions of any persons in this district who feel disposed to assist in the memorial project, and we will do so with a degree of pleasure.
