WOLGAST DEFEATED,

RITCHIE GAINS THE TITLE.

(Received November 29, 1.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 28. At Daly City, California, Ritchie defeated Wolgast, winning the lightweight honours. They went to sixteen out of the twenty rounds. Wolgast steadily lost throughout. The men fought like tigers throughout, and bled freely from face blows, Wolgast's teeth suffering. In the sixteenth round, Wolgast bit low, and the referee awarded the fight to Ritchie upon a foul. There was a tremendous crowd. ■The decision wa« generally satisfactory. The early rounds were very even.
