EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham aiid Williams, Ltd. ; report on their Eketahuna cattle fair, held yesterday, as follows: Wo had ji very heavy yarding of cattle, upwards of 800 head being submitted to a large attendance of the public, buyers being present from the Lower Valley, Woodville, Pahiatua, Ali'redtpn and.surrounding districts, and we 'have to report a very successful sale. Most of the cattle yarded were in good condition; tin* 3-yr-old- steers sold on behalf of Mr H. AV. Bridge, Tawataia, being exceptionally well done, making the top price for 3-yr-olds, viz., £6 16s. Three-year-olds, on ac. of Kinson Bros. £6 9s 6d; 4-yr-olds on ac. F. H. Groves £7; -J-yr bullocksl on ac. V. H. Heckler £8; and '4-yr do. on ac. same vendor £0 7s; 3-yr do. on ac. N. Pedersen Co 7s 6d; 3-yr do. on ac. R. Thomasen £5 7s 6d; 2-yr steers on ac. W. H. Heckler £5; on behalf of other vendors to £4 14s 6d; yearling steers £3 16s, 18-mo.s dairy" heifers well into Jersey made £4 18s 6d, yearling heifers £2 15s 6d to £4 3s 6cf, 15-mos heifers £3 to £3 2s 6d, 18-mos heifers up to £3 12s 6d, 2-yr heifers £3 18s 6d and £2 15s 6d, dairy cows £4, fat cows £6, springing heifers £6 10s, bulls £2 10s to £3.
