AMATEUR ATHLETICS
THE WAIRARAPA CLUB. The committee of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Club met in Murray's Hall, Masterton, last night, when some detail work in connection with the forthcoming spoils on Boxing Day was transacted.
l't was decided to bold the events, which had been postponed, on account of bad weather, on next evening. Messrs R. Messenger, M* B. Iggulden, E. Flanagan, -a-nd S." Kingston were appointed a -sub-committee to arrange for the marking and measuring of the ground on that evening. An activo canvas for members is to be made forthwith by the committee, and there should! be a, ready response, as the club's annual sports are to be held within a month.
