HON. F. M. B. FISHER
INTERVIEWED AT CHRISTCHURCH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CKIRISTCHURCH, Last Night, in-the course, of an interview the Hon F! M. B. Fisher stated that on his return to Wellington he intended going out to Teraw'hiti with officers of the Marine Department to hear advice as to where the lights should be placed. Regarding tariff revision, he said it would lie undertaken next session, and he also hoped that the Trades Description- Bill would be placed on the Statute, Book. ' This Bill provides that every importer of goods must declare on the invoice the conn-, try of origin of the goods,' and if forgoods -they would, he taxed, as foreigners ought to- be taxed, against British manufacturers. With reference to the Military Pensions Act, he stated that the necessary Departmental forms were ready for circulation, and, posters regarding the Act would soon be posted at every railway station, post office, and old age pension office.
