MYSTERIOUS CASE.
1 MAN JUMPS OVERBOARD
(Received Last Night, 8.45 o'clock.) SYDNEY, November 20.
W.oodenson was the name under which Samuel Keys, a labourer, of Surrey Hills, "visited New Zealand, in order to receive £3OO bequeathed to liinv by his father. Keys brought the money in a bank draft from Dunedin.
The police state that they have'no rea-von to suspect foul play, but the man's disappearance was made under circumstances make tho case mysterious.
(Woodenson, or Keys, joined the steamer M oeraki at Wellington for Sydney on November 12th. He'was seen by a Greek passenger on the vessel to jump overboard, and the body was not recovered., Tt Svas known at the time that he was in possession of a sum of money.)
