THE ANNUAL MEETING. The following cable message has just been received in, reference to the annual meeting of Messrs Balgety and Co., Ltd.: — "The annual meeting of the company took place to-day, and was in every way most satisfactory.

Doxat, chairman of the board of directors', and managing director at London, announced his resignation as from 30th June nest, owing; to advanced age.
