AUCKLAND, Last Night.
The now Chief Post Qffice was opened by tho Premier to-day, before a crowd numbering nearly 10,000. 'J he following Ministers were present— Hons R. H. Rhodes, James Allen, W. H. Henries, and Dr Pomare. A number of M.'sP. also attended.
Mr Massey received a great ovation from the most orderly crowd. He- predicted a great future for Auckland. -
Mr Hemes the new Railway Station would be erected as soon as money could be got. The Hons Masscy, Rhodes and Pomare go to Waiuku to-morrow to attend a banquet.
