LADIES' COLLEGE.
FOR THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

WELLINGTON, Last Night
Tho Presbyterian General Assembly this afternoon decided to establish a Ladies' College in Hawke'a Bay. An offer of four acres of land by Mr T. Mason Chambers, to enlarge the site for. tho College, already eight acres in extent, was accepted; also an offer of service as Principal made by Miss .Fraser, M.A., for many years principal of the Wanganui Girls College. Plans wero approved for a building to cost, with furnishings, about £IO,OOO.
