TYPHOID OUTBREAK
SEVENTY-THREE CASES AT PORT AUGUSTA. (Received November 16, 9.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, November ]fi. v ' There are 73 typhoid cases in the Port Augusta Hospital. The Health Officer believes he has traced the source of tho epidemic. Twenty-two of the patients partook of fruit salad at a dance on Eight Hours' Day. The cream for the salad had been supplied by an hotel wh').;e landlady did not attend the dance, but was suffering from typhoid.
