THE HUNTLY TROUBLE.
Reports of a disturbing character are to hand from Huntly. It would seem that the Federationists in that township, probably smarting under a sense of the alleged in justice done their comrades at Wailii, are determined upon reprisals, and are limiting tho Arbitrationists from the town. A .strike is also threatened. The Commissioner of Police has done the right tiling in despatching a detachment of constables to the scene, and at is to be hoped that there will not bo a repetition of the Waihi trouble. In the meantime we would abjure the press of tho Dominion to adopt a more conciliatory attitude than has boon displayed during tho last few weeks.
