RESTRICTION OF IMMIGRATION. (Received November 14, 1.5 p.m.), SYDNEY, November 11. The Now South Wales Government has decided to restrict the immigration of artisans. Mr M'Gowen, the Premier, states that the influx largely exceeded he number recommended, and the Government lias stopped granting assisted passages. The building trade is disappointed at this decision, but the Trades Hall supports the .Government's action, in view of the shortage of money in the Treasury and the recent dismissals bv the Harbour Trust and Water Board.
