ALLEGED THEFT
OF A POSTAL PACK KT. ( By Televr^h—Fru* HAMILTON*, Last Night. Detective* Hollis, of Auckland, -arrested a young man named Kay Oliver Taylor, alias Reginald Taylor, at Frsmkton, on a charge of the theft of a postal packot, the property of Kay Taylor, of Karaka, nei»- Ri.jigiruan. The accused was in the employ of Mr Hall, at Karaka.. Tn January last a postal packet was registered and-delivered at t-lio house, addressed to Raj Taylor. The accused is alleged to have got po k M3sion of this, which contained a bangle, a £1 note, aaid a letter, which he is siid to hare retained. Ho di«apoeared shortly afterwards, and arrested after ten months' liberty, The accused appeared before the Court, and wa.s remanded to Auckland.
