HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
ROSE AND SWEET PEA SHOW. The Rose and Sweet Pea Show of the Masterton Horticultural and Industrial Society, which, will be held in the Drill Hall on November 20th,, promises to bo a most successful exhibition. A very comprehensive schedule has been prepared for the show, and extra ; classes havo been added both in open and amateur .competitions. Two championship trophies have been allotted for tho show, viz., the Dixon Silver Rose Bowl for the champion rose, which is to bo won twice at spring shows before becoming the property of any exhibitor; and the Silver Challenge Cup for the best twelve sweet peas. Schedules 'and entry forms may be obtained from the-secretary, Mr H. M. Boddington.
