SUPREME COURT.
(By Teletrrson —P«w» Ajwocsataon.l NELSON, Last Night. The Supreme Court session opened to-day before Mr Justice Chapman, who congratulated the Grand Jury pn the freedom of the district from serious crime. William Henry Coles, found guilty of the theft of various articles From a furniture dealer, was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment. Coles was a police constable. The thefts were committed while he was on night duty.
