THE RAILWAY MANAGER.
The opposition of "Lihend" racisinTs of tho House to the proposal Homo for a manager of oi;r "aihvn.ys. was too humorous for won is. It wai the "Liberals" themselves who offered the suggestion, through the Hon A. M. Myers. For no other apparent reason; than'-that tho Government followed up tho suggestion, a number of members of the disintegrated party went dead against it. This is party politics, ;.s wo havrit in v New Zealand! The wondt-r is that your ardent- "Liberals" do rot vote against the adjournment of House because tho motion has been proposed by a Government member. It is a mad world, my masters!
