r WAIRARAPA SUCCESSES. At tho Palmerston North Show yesterday, Mr William Perry, of Masterton, swept the board in Lincoln sheep, | taking six first and two champion 1 prizes, six seconds and four thirds. In Romney Marsh sheep, G. E. Allen, W. Perry, W. H. Buiek ?.nd A. and J. Gray each took second prizes to the redoubtable E. Short, of Feilding. Mr E. Eagle, of Carterton, was awarded first prize for Jersey bull calved since July, 1909. CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. (By Telegraph—tress Auoeiaiinn.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night, Good weather prevailed for the second day of the Manawatu Show, and there was a large attendance. The bulk of the principal judging was completed. One feature of tho show was the magnificent competition in Romney sheep, and the same applied to draughts. The Duncdin con-1 tin gent of imported Clydesdales scooped the championships in this class. The chief results were as follows: Draught stallion—Thompson Co., Taieri, with Font .Print (imp.), 1 and ch; same owner's Nowton Chief/ reserve championship; maro. Thomp- ) son and Co.'s Baron's. Brilliant, 1 and j 1 ch; E. Short's Silloth Lady*, reservel ' championship. |

Short win in Romneys the Wheeler Memorial Cnp, the MacDougal. fifteen guineas cnp, and his own hundred guinea cnp. The latter, cup would otherwise hove been won outright by W. Perry.
