HAGERTY v. MAXWELL. —rffss Association.) TTMARU, Last Night, The Drill Shed is seated for 1800 people, and every seat was occupied by spectators of the Hagerty (Timaru) v. Maxwell (Haworn) light, of 15 rounds, for a £SO purse. Many were turned away. Hagerty won easily on points from the first round. Maxwell fought plnckily imd took a lot of punishment. He was nearly blinded before the close. The onlookers were of the opinion that Hagerty could have finished the fight half war through.
