SHOCKING FATALITY.

CHILD BURNED TO DEATH. . A shocking fatality occurred at Te \Vbiti last week. A four-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Rayner was left in the house while the parents were out milking. By some means or another the child's clothing became ignited, and its body was frightfully burned before its condition was discovered. Dr Cook was summoned from Masterton, but the shock to the child was so great that it succumbed. An inquest was held by Mr J. T. M. Hornsby, District, Coroner, when a verdict #f accidental death was returned.
