Ringht, the soprano of the company, is described as one of the most gifted vsingers yet heard in the Dominion. The contralto, Miss Madoline Knight, has a very rich voice ,which she uses in . » most •wtistic manner. Mr Paul Vorrier, a baritone with an English reputation, will also appear. VENGEANCE OF FATE

1 he Vengeance of Fate programme at the Town Hall attracted a large prow-:l> last evening, and judging by the applause which greeted many of the films, those present thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. Seldom ha-s the management'of the Town Hall Pier turns nut on a better, bill, every piece being of the highest excellence. The dramasy headed by that superb drama The Vengeance of Fate, were full of artistic merit and of great dramatic power. The scenic.s portray in bewildering colours the many wondrous spots of the world. The comedies created a great amount of humour, the audience being kept in a simmer of maintained laughter. Owing to the Town Hall being engaged this evening no picture programme will bo shown. To-morrow afternoon a great matinee feast will be screened for the delectation, of the little ones, and in the evening another of the Town Hall specia ls will be _produced. THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES THE GREAT LTON DRAMA. The Foresters' Hall was filled last evening when the current programme was shown for the first time. The star drama was Ambrosia's priwi study The Ship of Lion.s. As a sensation it is far and away the best thing .seen in Mi sterton for a long time. ' There were several other really first. Hass dramas as follows:—The Star of the Side Show. The Patched Coat, Brutus (a fine historical picingly pretty and effective piece of acting tint was delightfully fresh), and "An Indian Summer. There was a Gaumont Graphic and a Pathe Gazette, both full of the latest interesting news items fiom the Old World. The Seascape of Venice was instructive and enjoyable. The Funeral of General Booth was impressive, and was shown in detail on the screen. The comic' films were Tweedledum, Guide to the. Alps, .In Quarantine. Funicuss Wishes to Marry and The Butler and turns ,one of the be-st yet seen in Masterton ,will be screenedi again this evening. when there is bound to be a very large attendance.
