INSURANCE BILL.
IMPORTANT PROPOSALS. EXPLAINED BY MR LLOYDGEORGE. (Received Last Night, 11.50 o'clock } LONDON, October 24. The Right Hon D. Lloyd-George, speaking in the House of Commons, said that including extras for tuborculosistheat ment the Government proposed to assure doctors 7s per head on the insured population. Eighteen pence lias been assigned for drags, and an extra sixpence also assigned for di'ugs, would be added to tho remuneration of doctors. If drugs wore not required tho Exchequer will deflay £1,6-50,000. If abnormal circumstances should arise, tin) central funri will make a special grant for drugs. Sir James Barr, president of tho British Medical Association, states that Mr Lloyd-George's, terms form the basis of an agreement, but the problem is not entirely a monetary one
