An inquest ivas lielcl to-night ton chin p tho death of Mr Douglas Johnston, who fell 30ft over an embankment, near Balmoral, on Friday morning, and had died a.t the hospital. Tiie evidence went to show that deceased and a friend were driving in tho dark in a gig, and missing a turn in tho road ran over the embankment. 'A verdict of accidental death was returned.
