IN QUEENSLAND. ATTEMPTED MURDER FOLLOWED BY SUICIDE. (Received October 21, 10 n.tn.) BRISBANE, October 21. A tragedy has occurred at Boongoondoo. Station. It is stated that Young, manager of the station, informed his wife that he was going t ,: - visit other property. She went to the kitchen to wrap up her hus'iaiul s hrnch, when it was alleged Yoimg followed her, and shot lier twice in the head with a, revolver. Later throe shots were heard. Young's body was found • half a mile away with the throat cut and two bullet wounds in the head. The wife is in a serious condition.
