We put the question in the converse, and ask, "Why should the. educational system of this country be emasculated to please a handful of clergymen?" It is not the secularists alone who deiiiuuid the retention of the existing system. There, is a large section of 'the. church-going ojomnnj|nity which views with apprehension the attempt that is being made to emasculato the system,' by the introduction of the | thin end of the wedge of ecclesiactic- j ism and denonn'nationalism.
