MASTERTON HOMING CLUB

WELLINGTON PIGEON RACE. A race in which (>7 birds competed, for the No. 2 birds in the South road, was flown on Saturday last, the airline being a distance of 51 miles. A heavy north-west wind was blowing in Masterton, but the birds made tlie good time of llir ICmin, and all homed well. Result: G. Peinber's "Tigorine," 1225 yds 1 ; W. L. Drake's "Dropper," 1224 yds 2; W. Dowling's "Full Sail," 1220 yds, 3! The next race will bo from Taumnranui, 011 the 17th inst., for No. 2 birds, North road.
