LONDON WOOL SALES. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile. Agency Co.. Ltd., and Reduced, have received the following cablegram from their London office .-—"The sales closed strong; 136,000 bales of wool wers sold, of which 18,000 were taken for the Continent and 6000 for America : 7000 bales were held over. As compared with last sales closing rat.reprices are higher by about 5 per ce" + to 7-J- per cent, medium and inferior } and coarse scoured crossbred.
