CO-OPERATIVE SELLING.
We are pleased to note that Mr Thomas Parsons, managing director of the X.Z. Farmers' Dairy Union, hae taken up-the question of the co-operative marketing of dairy produce. It has 'been a marvel to us that an industry which is conducted almost entirely on co-operative principles should so long neglect the important question of distribution. We cannot say whether it be true that tho producers are losing £IOO,OOO per year by their present slipshod methods. They must, however, be losing a very consider- | able sum, and it is time that concertled measures were taken to stop the I leakage.
