QUESTION IN PARLIAMENT. ATTITUDE OF BRITISH GOVERNMENT. (Received Last Night, 8.30 o'clock.) LONDON, October 10. The Hon V. D. Acland, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, replying to questions in the House of Commons, said the Government had opposed the Crisp loan, as China was not free to borrow while negotiating with*six Powers. Britain was under an honourable obligation to oppose an outside loan also. China had not given adequate guarantees for the proper expenditure of the loan.
