RAILWAY OFFICERS
FURTHER PROTESTS. Press Association telegrams were received from fnvcrcargill and Wa-ngam-ji last night. stating that at each of these centres a meeting of the Railway Officers' Institute had been held, at which resolutions had been Carried declining the offer of the Minister of Railways as a settlement of the officers' requests, and recommending a petition to Parliament.
